Algeria, like all developing countries, has adopted, since the creation of its currency in 1964, several exchange rate policies through fixed exchange rates and arriving at controlled floating.
This transition is made with the aim of improving its external competitiveness and boosting domestic production in order to achieve internal and external macroeconomic balance.
That said, the determinants of the exchange rate in Algeria will be the rate of inflation, the interest rate.The main objective of this study is to analyze the relations between the exchange rate and the evolution of the fundamental determinants of the exchange rate of the Algerian dinar.
Our work is based on annual data for the period [1968-2016].
To do this, we used the autoregressive model (VAR).

L'Algérie comme tous les pays en développement a adopté, depuis la création de sa monnaie en 1964, plusieurs politiques de change en passent par la fixité des changes, en arrivant au flottement dirigé.
Cette transition est faite dans le but d'améliorer sa compétitivité extérieure et stimuler la production nationale afin de réaliser l'équilibre macro-économique interne et externe.
Ceci dit, les déterminants du taux de change en Algérie seront donc le taux d'inflation, le taux d'intérêt puisque l'objectif principal du pays est de stimuler la production et la compétitivité.
L'objectif principal de cette étude est d'analyser les relations entre le taux de change et l'évolution des déterminants fondamentaux du taux de change du dinar algérien.
Notre travail est basé sur les données annuelles concernant la période [1968-2016].
Pour ce faire, nous avons fait recours au modèle autorégressif (VAR).
