Abstract EN

Increasingawareness of the dangerous consequences of psychological health has been intensifying; this problem has been spread particularly among teenagers and children.

After considering recent western studies, this study has taken place with the main aim of clarifying the consequences of the parents practices towards psychological health among Algerian adolescents.

The study has used the survey descriptive methodology to provide accurate and direct information from which conspicuous can be drawn.

It has used two measuring tools: Schaefer measure for parental practices, and psychological health scale, information has been taken from 700 students randomly chosen from governmental schools in Algiers big governorate.

In general, two cleaves in distinction to one major conclusion have been drawn.

The first cleave avails the idea of a positive statistical influence of the violence, and the discarding and dominating parental practices and adolescents tendency to disorders psychological heath.

The second cleave that acceptance and lenient parental practices are positively correlated with a decreased level of adolescent’s psychological heath
