A pot experiment was conducted at the college of Agricultual engineering sciences/ University of Baghdad/ALjadria in the winter season 2018-2019, silty loam soil (10 Kg for each pot) was used to study the effect of Biofertilizer combination (Azotobacter chrococcum+Baucillus mucilaginosus+ Glomus mouss) Vermicopost and local compost and chemical fertilizer level on some growth and yield parameters of Flax plant.

This study Included three factors, the firsts one is the Biofertilizer combination and without biofertilizer, the second factor is three types of compost (vermicompost, local compost and without compost) while the third factor Include three levels of chemical fertilizer (75% , 50% and zero% ) of the recommendation of fertilization, the experiment Include also one treatment as the chemical recommended fertilization (100% ) with three replicates, the pot experiment consist of 57 experimental unit using complete Randomized design (CRD).

Results showed that the addition of combination bi-ofertilizer affect significantly on plant height, shoot dry weight, number of capsules, seed weight and seeds oil percentage with the value 44.87 cm, 16.50 g plant-1, 214.2 capsule plant-1, 11.96 g pot-1 and 37.78% respectively.

The addition of vermicompost or local compost affect significantly on plant height, shoot dry weight, number of cap-sule, seed weight, seeds oil percentage with the value 46.63 cm, 15.71 g plant-1, 216.4 capsule plant-1, 11.90 g pot-1 and 38.64% respectively.

On the other hand the level of chemical fertilization also effect on the growth and yield parameters of Flax plant with the superiority of 75% of recommended level.

The Interaction between biofertilizer and compost gave significant effect in plant height, shoot dry weight, number of capsules, seed weight and seeds oil percentage and gave the values 46.87 cm, 18.00 g plant-1, 225.1 capsule plant-1, 12.56 g pot-1 and 38.21% respectively.

In addition the Interaction between biofertilizer and chemical fertilization and between compost and chemical fertilization gave the same trend in its effect on growth and yield parameters of Flax phant.

The triple Interaction between biofertilizer, chemical fertilization and compost gave significant effect and gave the values 50.69 cm, 20.72 g plant-1, 274.7 capsule plant -1, 13.19 g pot-1 and 42.13% for plant height shoot dry weight, number of capsules, seeds weight and seeds oil percentage respectively.
