Abstract EN

The current study aimed to highlight the factorial structure of Emotional Intelligence Scale of university students completed in the current study and to confirm its psychometric properties (validity and reliability) in its final version.

The study focused on a sample of (250) students at Chlef university (Algeria); after the statistical analysis of the study data, the results showed that exploratory factorial analysis revealed that the Scale consists of four(04) main factors which are: Emotional Cognitive - Empathy – Regulation of Emotions -Management of Emotions.

The results of the study also showed that this measure has good psychometric characteristics that allow the latter to be used as a tool in scientific studies and researches.
