Abstract EN

This research deals with two important issues, on the one hand we analyse the concept of propositional function, and the substitution of the function-argument structure for the subject-predicate structure by Gottlob Frege; and on the other hand we deal with the analysis of the conception given by the theory of logical types in Bertrand Russell, which is one of his most important discoveries in the field of mathematical logic, that differs from the function-argument structure theory adopted by Frege, which is an attempt to find a procedure that prevents the possibility of generating the kind of contradictions mentioned by Russell to Frege in 1902.

And then we can mount the critical position taken by Wittgenstein towards it.
