The study aimed to reveal an effect of illness perceptions on Health-related quality of life (HRQOL) for renal transplant patients.

The sample of the study encompasses forty individuals underwent a kidney transplant who live in Khenchela and Batna.

and they were chosen by accident.

Using the descriptive method.

The study relied on two measures of the Illness Perceptions Questionnaire (Brief IPQ) and Health-related quality of life (SF36).

This study has provided insights about the relationship between the transplant duration variable, the cognitive representations dimension, and the illness - understanding dimension with each of the levels of quality of life (psychological performance and physical performance).

There is also an effect of the dimension of understanding the illness on psychological performance, as well as an effect of the variable duration of implantation on the level of physical performance.
