Abstract EN

The study deals with the phenomenon of thickening in Warch's recita- tion , which means the thickening in the HI ( J )"lam" phoneme, in particular, in some structural context .The study is based on structural analysis of the phonological context in which "lam" occurs.

It is found out, the thickening of "lam" in Warch’s recitation is a mid state between softening and magnifying, depending on through examination of some pronouncing examples of the "lam" phoneme in Arabic.
