This research aims to identify “The Effect of Discontinuous Thinking Style in Reducing Thinking of Suicide for High School Students” a random sample has been chosen from research society about (600 students) from High school in Baqubah District related to Governorate of Diyala.

The researcher constructed a thinking of suicide measurement according to theory of (Bake 2000) and the measurement was of (53 items) divided into three domains.

The validity has been extracted in many ways.

And also stability by retest and Alpha Cronbach.

The researcher implemented the measurement in its final form on a sample of (210 students), and (20 students) were chosen of those obtaining high marks on the scale of thinking of suicide about (10 students) in each group.

Validity has been checked for the program through demonstrating it a group of experts and specialists in domain of psychological counseling were the rate the validity of program was (100% ).

As for, content validity the researcher checked it through a number of questions asked at end of each session and concerning final validity it has been checked by the researcher through post-test that has been conducted for the two experimental groups to verify the effect of through the results by the effectiveness of the counseling program in reducing thinking of suicide.

Finally, the researcher came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions to treat thinking of suicide in our Educational Institutions.
