Abstract EN

The Mongols did not differ much from other conquerors except by sheer brutality.

This is due to their nomadic social system, and the cruelty of the nature in which they lived.

In spite of their integration into the Islamic community after their conversion to Islam, and their followers of the Islamic administrative, economic and judicial systems, their carrying the banner of Islam far away and their defense of it, and even their fight against their non-Muslim relatives.

However, we find that the first brutal view that accompanied the occupation operations remained a companion to them in the Arab and Muslim collective mind when they were mentioned.

This may be due to the breakdown and demise of the Muslim authority after more than six centuries of time at their hands.

In addition to the destruction, devastation and genocide that accompanied this refraction.

Despite much that was recorded about their nomadic and brutal nature by contemporary historians of the first occupation operations; However, we see their clear contribution to the Islamic civilization, even if contemporary blogs do not deal with them in detail, and no researcher in this field can deny development in the linguistic and literary fields, pure sciences, architecture, legal and administrative systems, improving trade routes and building their stations.

Perhaps Hulaku said to Nasir al-Tusi during the first occupation period when the latter offered him the discipline of Sultan Jalaluddin Khwarazmishah, who was being pursued by the Mongolian forces as his soldiers were reaching out and attacking the subjects when they reached the city of Tabriz: (We are at this time engaged in conquest and seizure not in The guardianship of the kingdom and that the state of seizure does not pay attention to the conditions of the subjects, and since we did not complete the seizure, we do not take this into account.
