Abstract EN

This research deals with an era in the history of Syria, despite its shortness, but it was very important, as it witnessed fateful developments in the history of both Syria and Turkey, at a time when both countries tried to reorganize their policies on solid national foundations, but they were confronted with European colonial ambitions.

Especially France and Britain during and after the First World War (1914-1918).

Among the results of the French-British intervention in the affairs of both Syria and Turkey were political and national crises that left their traces in the political, economic and social life of both countries, while Turkey regained its strength in a very short period and changed its political and social structure, during the era of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, for Syria and Lebanon Rather, all Arab countries suffered from European colonialism, which divided them and neglected the rights of their people and their lands that were secured by international bodies.

Given the intertwining of regional and international events at this crucial period, it is necessary to explain the events at these multiple and overlapping levels.
