The symbol represents an ancient style, it has been used since ancient humans began to draw drawings on the walls of caves.

The symbol is considered an embodiment of reality, and since the human nature cannot comprehend existence except through the sensible, this was a motivation for the writer to use the symbol to express his thoughts and feelings.

This research sheds light on this method used by the ancient Iraqi writer to find out the true meanings inherent in the language of literary symbol.

This research relied on the analytical and descriptive method to analyze texts and reveal the most prominent symbolic meanings in them.
