Abstract EN

This study aims to explore and examine how the factors explaining the decision to outsource logistics activities of companies can affect on gain competitive advantages.

To achieve this goal, an empirical study on a sample of Algerian industrial companies that resort to the outsourcing of their logistics activities was conducted.

To gather data, A questionnaire was used for this purpose.

The analysis of data is carried out using inferential statistics tools.

The main results indicate that the recourse of Algerian companies to the outsourcing of their logistics activities in order to obtain competitive advantages in terms of cost reduction, superior delivery and quality improvement of service is mainly explained by strategic, organizational and financial factors.
