The research deals with the extent to which the civil protection of the aquatic environment from pollution through focusing on what the aquatic environment is and on the concept of water pollution through stating its meaning and causes, as well as the position of internal legislation and its role in protecting the aquatic environment, especially the position of civil legislation and the legislation of protecting the aquatic environment from pollution.

In addition, the research shows the most important and required means and procedures to prevent pollution, as well as the means necessary to reduce pollution in case it occurs and the serious damages it causes to living creatures, whether human beings or aquatic animals and plants, as well as the imposition of civil sanctions when this responsibility is realized، In conclusion, we will reach a set of results that may contribute to solving some environmental problems within the scope of civil law.
