Abstract EN

The visual performance structure in the artistic phenomenon is based on the performance and connotational action represented by the connotational shape and action embodied in the meaning or content.

The nature of the shape is the one which determines the structure of the artistic work, its direction, its characteristics and its traits.

And due to the importance of the shape in the artistic work, the researcher has viewed to deal with that in his study, Shape and Structures of Martyr Legend in Abdelrazaq Yassir's Work, in order to determine the track of the shape and its representation in that legend.

The first section includes: the problem of the research, its importance and the need for it, its goals, its scope, and the terminology.

the second section of the study includes: principles and principals of the shape structure in the visual field.

As for the second study, it includes; the historical root of the martyr and its emergence in the Iraqi painting.

The third chapter dealt with the research procedures, while the fourth chapter included publications and direct directives.
