The current research aims to know (the effect of the jigsaw strategy on the achievement of social material for second-grade intermediate students), the researcher followed the experimental research method, and the research community reached (92) secondary and middle schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad / Karkh II, while the research tool It included the achievement test and the number of its paragraphs was (40) test items of the type (multiple choice), either stability was extracted through the equation (Alpha Cronbach) and amounted to (80, 0) for multiple choice items.
The results proved that there is a statistically significant difference In the responses of the students of the two groups, in favor of the experimental group that was taught according to the use of the jigsaw strategy in the achievement test on the students of the control group who were taught according to the traditional method
