Abstract EN

The present study aims at highlighting the phenomenon of street gang activity in Algeria, through the analysis of criminal behavior committed in this context.

We used the descriptive comparative methodology of a sample of criminal acts countered by the efforts of Algerian security services.

In particular, we will try to determine the specificity of this phenomenon in the Algerian society and compare it to that found in other countries.

We will describe the type of criminal conduct and suggest a set of recommendations aiming at the effective prevention and resolution of these new types of criminal offences.
