Abstract EN

The article deals with the stages of preparing the Arabic version of Winnie Dunn's sensorial profile tool, which determines the pattern of sensory processing in autistic child.

The tool is a questionnaire specifically directed to the child's parents.

We go through the description of the original tool and then the steps of translating and adapting it from French to Arabic.

The results of verifying the psychometric properties of the Arabic version will be presented.

The results showed on (n = 30) that the tool is valid, has internal consistency validity and a strong stability coefficient.

In addition, we concluded that the psychometric properties of the tool in its Arabic version are similar to those found in the French version.

Before presenting the results of the study of characteristics, we will discuss a number of theoretical data related to perceptual processing, the autistic child, and the definition of the perceptual feature.
