Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the correlation between the speed of change in direction, the ability index, and the muscular ability of the lower extremities of handball players, where we relied on the quasi-experimental approach in the study, and it was conducted on 14 players vertical jump tests "CMJ", and vertical jump test.

"SJ", and to test the speed of change in direction (505), we calculated the power (Pw) by (Johnson et Bahamon's equation), and the statistical analysis of the results of the tests allowed us to record the following results: there is no correlation between the ability indicator and the speed of change in direction, and between the muscular ability and the ability indicator, and there is a correlation between the speed of change in direction and the muscular ability of the lower extremities of handball senior players.
