Studying the lives of the greats and heroes of history has become a vital and urgent necessity in the study of history because it is one of the main factors in knowing the history of the nation in which that Islamic hero grew up, and at the same time it reflects the nature of history for the hero and the role he played in the history of that nation.

Mahmud of Ghazna is one of the most important heroes of Islamic history for whom history has recorded a record of great achievements written in history and has attracted the attention of most researchers.

It is a scientific assessment of its historical status from a Western point of view.
