Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of an interactive e-book based on learning patterns for developing visual thinking skills and maintaining impact of learning on students of the Faculty of Technology and Education in Suez.

To achieve the research objectives, an interactive e-book was designed based on learning patterns in electric motors.

Moreover, an achievement test was built to measure the cognitive aspects of electric motors, as well as a scale of visual thinking skills for students of the Faculty of Technology and Education in Suez.

The research sample was chosen from among the students of the second year (Electricity Department) at the Faculty of Technology and Education at Suez University, and the research sample amounted to (103) male and female students, it was divided into two groups, one of them experimental, and it amounted to (53) male and female students (studying electric motors using an interactive e-book method).

The other was a control group that amounted to (50) male and female students (studying electric motors using the normal method).

Results of this research are the following: There is a statistically significant effect of the interactive e-book based on learning patterns in developing visual thinking skills, and academic achievement of the cognitive aspects related to electric motors, as well as the existence of a positive, statistically significant correlation between visual thinking skills and academic achievement of cognitive aspects related to electric motors among sample students’ group
