The aim of the current research is to identify the impact of a proposed program in environmental sciences 2 based on the Social Scientific Issues (SSI) approach on developing productive thinking skills and awareness of social scientific issues among student teachers at the College of Education, To achieve this goal, the two researchers prepared (the program based on the SSI Social Issues Entrance - Productive Thinking Skills Test - Social Scientific Issues Awareness Scale, The study sample was selected, which was represented by the third year students (Physics - Chemistry) at the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University.
