Abstract EN

Iraq has witnessed an emergence of a generation of researchers and academics whom we could not overlook or ignore their research and knowledge- based findings.

We studied Arabic rhetoric {al-Balaghah( at the department of Arabic in a book that we have always carried inside our hearts .The book is )Rhetoric and Application( by the two professors Ahmed Al-Matloob and Dr.

Kamil Hassan Al-Basir.The first one is well-known and his reputation exceeds that of the second .However, Dr.

Hassan Basir is not inferior to the others as he was a member of the Iraqi Academy of Sciences and a Professor of rhetoric , criticism and Qur‘anic studies at Al-Mustansiriya University.

This search is a humble study to reveal this person‘s scientific efforts .It falls into an introduction and three sections .These sections will make shed light on his efforts ,life , and works to the new generation of researchers who were not his contemporaries or knew him closely.
