Abstract EN

This research demonstrates the historical progression of the women's rights in society, and how women started having their voice heard by going out to the streets, parading and starting the Suffragette movement in the USA in 1848.

The movement moved later to Europe and kept calling for greater freedoms until the right of vote was granted, in addition to many key roles in the governments that women play today.

The paper shows also the role of the Arabic women in the suffragette movement, the wide steps they took to prove their presence in the three main branches of authority; legislative, executive, and judicial, and how much more work they need to do to enhance and strengthen their performance in the future governments.
