Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to highlight the reality of the services sector in economic diversification, to publicize the general concepts of services and the activities in which they fall and the role they play in economic diversification.

The analytical descriptive approach has been adopted by addressing the importance of the services sector and analysing the status of the service sector in the national economy through its contribution to GDP and its share of investment projects.

The study concluded that the contribution of services to the Algerian economy remains far away, especially since Algeria enjoys a lot of human and material capabilities and only lacks more efforts and exploits these capabilities in order to advance its development and make room for the contribution of the private sector, including foreign investors.

Therefore, it is imperative to work on Diagnose the underlying causes.
