Abstract EN

This research paper aims to provide an analytical reading of Algerian health communication environment during the period of addressing the corona pandemic, by examining the applicability of the innovation diffusion theory by Everett Rogers, to understand the communication follow stages in this environment, and the opinion leaders roles in persuading people to adopt the covid- 19 vaccine, in light of multiple sources of information's and the spread of rumors, publicities and fake news, which lead to uncertainty about vaccination idea and lack of audience confidence in health information sources, and individuals confusion, therefore we seek to understand the covid-19 vaccination idea adopting by applying one of most important theory which explain scientifically the diffusion of new innovation impact and mechanisms in developing societies and the stages of adopting process, we reached through this research to the feasibility of innovation diffusion theory to explain the adoption process in the Algerian health communication environment
