This présentation aims to highlight the efforts of the United Nations Organization incountering hate speech focusing on the principle of the responsibility to protect which is considered as one of the principles that was adopted by the organization since 2005 as a new principle in international relations, trying through it to prevent the recurrence of International Crimes that was commited against civilians in many countries of the world and hate speech was one of the main factors that contributed to its kindling.

We try through the presentation's components to clarify the Relationship between this principle and the international commitment to prevent hate speech, that is by addressing the most important strategies that the organization relies on through its major and minor agencies which is directly related to the Organization's commitment to implementing this approach and take it forward.
