The problem of the study is represented in the main question of what is the reality of the effect of information systems (IS) on financial and administrative control in Sudanese banks operating in the state of the island.

the researchers used the descriptive analytical method, and then designed a questionnaire consisting of 29 elements and distributed to a random sample of banks operating in the state of the island, and the statistics were used.

frequencies, percentages, mean, and spearman rank correlation coefficient through the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) program.

the study concluded : all the paragraphs of the extent of the readiness of the (IS)used in the Sudanese banks operating in the state of the island by the study community obtained an average of (4.03), meaning that the relative weight was (80.6%), and there is a statistically significant relationship between (IS)and administrative control, and there is also a related relationship Statistical significance between (IS)and financial control.

Researchers recommend: The need to pay attention to the quality of the outputs of (IS)that support the decision-maker in the field of administrative and financial control, as well as the need to pay attention to the components of (IS)(hardware, software, networks, human resources, operations), and finally the researchers recommend the need to conduct more studies in this area.
