Abstract EN

This study included an investigation of Al-Subki’s manuscript entitled Ihdāʾ Al-Nnāfʿ fi Ibdāʾ Al-Dāfiʿ.

It consisted of two sections: the first section offered an overview of the manuscript and its importance, reasons for choosing this topic, previous studies and the methodology.

Then it presented a review of the author’s life and his scholarly position among his contemporaries.

The section also touched upon the manuscript under investigation with regard to its author, its content, and its significance.

The second section dealt with the practical investigation of the manuscript and its significance.

The most obvious finding to emerge from this study is that Imam Al-Subki’s has paid a great attention to the sayings of scholars of the four dominant doctrines of jurisprudence and cited them with their sources reflecting the importance of originality and credibility in scientific research and highlighting his excellence and profound knowledge in the principles of jurisprudence.
