The book of "KALILA AND DIMNA" is one of the richest prose books in the ancient Arab heritage.
It represents an important dimension of Arab civilization.
In the book "KALILA AND DIMNA", Ibn al-Muqaffa opened a small window for himself to consider and evaluate his intellect, and the reality of the cultured of his time and their crisis.
The end of the cultured, Ibn al-Muqaffa, is similar to that of the heron who advised the pigeon wisely and saved her, but he lost his life because of his stupidity.
The hidden and symbolic language of Ibn al-Muqaffa did not save him or the cultured of his age the troubles they faced.
This study deals with the crisis of the cultured, in the framework of the tale of the pigeon, the fox and the heron.
