Praise be to God, who has completed the credit, and to Him belongs all goodness, and prayers and peace be upon the Hadi, a prayer that earns us his intercession, and upon his family and companions.

But After: There is no doubt that the semantic level is one of the most important functions in which the word is strengthened, as it is the main goal of any linguistic activity.

Poets Ibn Zaydun, and he is one of the most famous poets of the Andalusian era because of his long poems in all the arts of poetry.

Ibn Zaydun was undoubtedly the most prominent Andalusian poet in terms of the level of his poetry.

He occupies a distinguished and very important place in all Arabic poetry, and all those who spoke about him or translated him from the previous praised him, and his poetry indicates that he is widely acquainted with the poetry of the Orient, and poetry before him from the Andalusians and that he benefited from all of that while retaining his distinctive personality in His poetry and his care to highlight himself in his poetic works.

Hence, I found myself strongly inclined to write about the semantic level of Ibn Zaydun, and the research was divided into an introduction and two chapters and ends with a conclusion that included the most important results.

I made the preface entitled the semantic level, either the first topic entitled simile, and the second topic entitled metaphor, and I made it into two demands, the first requirement entitled metaphor and the second requirement entitled declarative metaphor, then the research ended with a conclusion that included the most important results that were reached in it.

In my research, I relied on a number of sources and references, including the complete in the language for the file, the dictionary of rhetorical terms and their development by Ahmed Matlob, the origins of the Arabic statement by Muhammad Hussein Ali Al-Saghir, and other sources.

I also hope that this research will be a building block of studies of the semantic level that surround poetry.
