The city of Ariel has gone through different historical stages, but it has gained importance since its inception, and its distinguished geographical location between two great rivers, the Upper and Lower Zabin, as well as the fact that it is adjacent to some mountain ranges, made it rich in resources and bounties, which made it the focus of attention of countries since that time.
And when Islam and Muslims came to their state, when its people embraced Islam and became an element of strength like the state of Islam, and different families came to rule over it.
And its progress in all fields, but their interest in the scientific aspect, as they built many scientific facilities such as mosques and schools, thus Ariel became the destination of scholars and intellectuals in the sixth and seventh centuries AH.
This is to supplement the Islamic civilization in the field of science and knowledge.
