Abstract EN

The present research paper aims to highlight the manner of translating the structures (words or phrases) with multiple references of the pronoun or grammatical orientations in the Holy Qur'an, as well as its impact on meaning and understanding of the English reader of the Qur'anic text.

It explores the differences and and their causes between translators in transferring the meaning.

It adopted the comparative approach.

The results showed that the multiple references of the pronoun in the Holy Qur'an resulted in various translations into English because the translators differ in understanding theses references in the verse or preferring an interpretation to another.

The translators sometimes transfer the reference of the pronoun equally, whereas they may have different perspectives on a pronoun.

Thus, the translator of the meanings of the Holy Qur'an to the English reader prefers a certain interpretation, unlike the Arab reader who can review the different opinions of interprets.

The translator sometimes combine many grammatical orientations to convey many denotations in one translation.
