Abstract EN

This research discusses the interrogative methods mentioned in Surat Yusuf, (peace be upon him, ) between the psychological impact and the rhetorical position according to the questioner.

Eighteen questions took place in the blessed Surah; Four of them by our master Yusuf, five by his brothers, two interrogations by our master Jacob, ( peace be upon him), one by the wife of the Aziz(Egypt's king), and two by the tongue of the Aziz and his aides, and finally four were received from God Almighty at the end of the surah.

The research concerns with the psychological consequences behind each question, according to its questioner and its rhetorical position in the context, and there is no doubt that the different characters of the story resulted in a different psychological impact behind each question, and thus it opens a great way to extrapolate the psychological impact of the question in the Holy Qur'an as a whole according to its rhetorical position and the difference of the interrogators.
