Arabic language is the richest in vocabulary.

However, vocabulary is rich still finite.

New inventions and meanings due to life developments are infinite.

In adition to wide range of vocabulary, Arabic language is also rich in conotations for each word.

A single word can be used to indicate many other meanings, hence increases language ability to face needs of life development.

Moreover, the wide range of conotations helps and provides flexability for speakers, especially poets and literates, to choose among various conotarions.

Literates and authors contributed greatly for inflection of new conotations.

Al Khal is word that has got much conotations in Arabic language whearher in classic or modern poetry.

Therefore, I studied the conotations the word "Al khal" in classical and modern poetry as it has the most conotations.

The research found that inflection of new conotations is a vital requirement of life and enriches language as well.

Poets and literates made the greatest contributions, context is one of the most imortant factors to identify the contation.
