Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the requirements for employing collaborative learning environments in developing self-learning skills among College of Basic Education students in the State of Kuwait, and to investigate the existence of statistically significant differences in the requirements for employing collaborative learning environments in developing self-learning skills among students of the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait due to the research changes.

The study sample consisted of (377) male and female students from the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait.

The study adopted the descriptive approach and used the questionnaire as the study tool.

The study concluded many results including that the requirements for employing collaborative learning environments in developing organizational skills, direction and control skills, using learning resources skills, and self-evaluation skills for students came with a (high) response degree.

There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) about the requirements for employing collaborative learning environments in developing self-learning skills for College of Basic Education students in the State of Kuwait in all the axes of the questionnaire in addition to the overall mean due to the variables of gender, specialization, and academic year.

The study reached several recommendations including the necessity of providing appropriate display devices and halls to benefit from in presenting and displaying educational programs.
