تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى قراءة رواية (يوم كتابة قدري) للكاتبة هالة جاد، و على ضوء ذلك قسم الباحث دراسته إلى مدخل يضم تعريفا بالرواية، و مبحثين، فالمبحث الأول يتتبع العتبات (العنوان الرئيس-الغلاف-التصدير)، و دلالاتها، و مدى تعالقها مع الراوية، أما المبحث الثاني، فيتناول تقنيات السرد (الشخصيات-بناء الزمن-الفضاء المكاني)، ودورها في عالم الرواية، و أخيرا ضمت الدراسة خاتمة لأبرز النتائج.
خلصت الدراسة إلى أن النزعة الإنسانية قادت الكاتبة إلى تسليط الضوء على مرض نادر هو "متلازمة غيلان باريه"، فكانت هذه النزعة ذات دور في إظهار الإرادة الإنسانية من خلال التحدي و الصمود، فجاء الغلاف عتبة لهذا الصراع، و كان البناء الزمني متوافقا مع الرغبة في البقاء، لتواكب الشخصيات في تضافرها من أجل تجاوز هذه الأزمة.
This study aims to read the novel (The Day of Writing My Fate)

by the writer Hala Gaad, and in light of that, the researcher divided his study into an introduction that includes a definition of the novel, and two sections.
The second topic, deals with narration techniques (characters - construction of time - spatial space), and their role in the world of the novel, and finally the study included a conclusion of the most prominent results.
The study concluded that the human tendency led the writer to shed light on a rare disease, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and this tendency had a role in showing the human will through challenge and steadfastness.
