Abstract EN

When Mohamed Ali needed to make a new development in the transportations in Cairo, this development was reflected on the life style in Cairo and made a new big change which appeared on the urban planning in Cairo, like establishment a new wide streets, and addition to those built a new cities as khedive Cairo “Paris of the East” during khedive Ismail period, or expansion the streets in the old Cairo and that is to fit the size of carts, those streets which it was very narrow and curvy Also, this development was appeared on bridges building to facilitate the passing between the Nile sides like Imbab's bridge, Kasr El-Nile's bridge ….
