Abstract EN

This research paper aims to monitor and analyze the contributions of the educational discourse to the formation of power within society.

This is to clarify the ideologies that are hidden behind linguistic choices that serve the interests of the authority and its objectives in controlling the recipients and their opinions and directing them.

Several approaches have been used: descriptive, historical, and social survey.

The discourse in question was represented in some texts from the book Reproduction, by Pierre Bourdieu and Jean-Claude Bassron, by means of the intentional sampling method.

The researcher collected data through a speech analysis form.

We have reached a set of conclusions: the most important of which is that power is a compulsive social practice in educational discourse.
