Abstract EN

This study aims to know the interactive reality in the Algerian television channels and the extent of the interaction of these channels with their audience, highlighting the most important forms of interaction and the means used to achieve it and what Al-Nahar Channel can achieve as a model of this communication feature.

In this study, we relied on the survey method and the case study method, with the use of the questionnaire, interview and observation as scientific research tools to collect information from the sample members who are a group of Al-Nahar channel journalists.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that journalists rely on new and old means and devices in order to achieve the greatest degree of interactiveness that is embodied by responding to the public's questions and inquiries, and encouraging them to practice citizen journalism.

It also aims through its interaction with the public to develop and promote Public service that puts the public at the center of the media process and its center of attention.
