Abstract EN

The present study aims to monitor the most important obstacles facing primary school teachers and preventing them from introducing technological innovations with the aim of developing creative thinking.

The study included 50 teachers (n = 50) distributed over 20 primary schools in the state of Setif who were selected deliberatly.

To answer the study questions, the descriptive approach was adopted.

After statistical processing and analysis of the data.

The results of this study concluded that primary school teachers have wrong ideas about technological innovationsAnd that, in contrast to the intensive academic program, and the lack of means, they rarely think about developing creative thinking among pupils, and this study indicates that primary school teachers as a whole are ready to introduce technological innovations- the Computer Science Unplugged -, after they understand what it is and how to employ it.

Therefore, the curriculum review and the re-training of teachers have become an inevitable necessity to push the educational system a strong push to keep pace with scientific progress.
