تــهــدف ـالــــدراســـة الـــحـــالـــيـــــة إلى مــــــعـــرفــــة مــــــا إذا كـــانـــتهناك فروق في مستوى الطموح بين التلاميذ الموجهيننحو الــشعب العلمية و التلاميذ المــوجـــهـــيــن نحو الــشـــعــــبالأدبية من الـــــسنــــــة الـــثـــانـــيـــة ثـــــــانـــوي.
و للـــتأكد من ذلكقــــــمنا بتطــــبـــــيــق مـــــقـــيـــــــاس مــــستوى الــطــــمــــوح للبــــاحثةكامـــــــيلــيا إبراهيم عبد الفتاح، و الذي عدل من طـــرفالــباحثـــة زيــــنــــب بــــن بريــــكــــة و تـــــم تــطــــبيقه علــــــــــى البيئة الـــجــــزائــــريـــة، حـــيث أجـــريت الــدراسة على عينة متكونة من 325 تلميذا و تلميذة تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية.
و بعد جمع المعطيات و معالجتها توصلنا إلى عدم وجود فـــروق في مــــســتــــوى الــــطـــمـــوح بــيـــن الـتلاميذ الموجهين نحو الشعب العلمية و التلاميذ الموجهين نحو الشعب الأدبيةمن السنة الثانية ثانوي
