Abstract EN

The present study aims to detect the level of psychological compatibility among the mother of an autistic child and to know the nature of strategies adopted to confront with psychological pressures.

This study was conducted on a sample of (05) mothers at the Pediatrics department in Public Hospital of Mouhamed Boudiaf in medea where mother's age ranges between( 27 to 42 years old).

In order to verify the study hypotheses.

a questionnaire to collect the information coupled with Paulhan's coping strategies scale and also Zineb Mahmoud shkeir's psychological compatibility scale were applied the study results showed the presence of an average level of psychological compatibility among the mothers who adopt coping strategies focused on problem-solving.

unlike those who adopt coping strategies focused on emotion.

Therfore their psychological compatibility level's is low.
