اعتقدت العرب كغيرها من الأمم الأخرى بأسطورة وجود كائنات وقوى غير مرئية أقوى من البشر، و إن كان الغالب على إيمان العرب وجود الجن إلا أن الإنسان الجاهلي تأثر بكثافة الظواهر الطبيعية الكامنة في البيئة الصحراوية الرعوية و اعتقد بوجود قوى خفية تخيلها؛ ممثلة في تلك الظواهر التي اتخذ لها رموزا عديدة في شكل حيوان، أو نبات، أو كواكب ووظفها في أشعاره، و كانت قصة (الثور الوحشي) قد مثلت مظهرا أسطوريا في الشعر الجاهلي ووصفت جانبا من مظاهر حياة الجاهلي التي قامت على الصيد، و ارتبطت بطقوس الاستمطار ارتباطا ظاهرا، وبدا فيها الشاعر الجاهلي و كأنه يحاول التعبير بالواقع أو بالمتخيل عن معاناته في بيئته الطبيعية القاسية
Abstract EN
The Ar, like other nations, believed in a mythof the existence of invisible beings and powers stronger than humans, although the Arbelieved mostly in the existence of the jinn, but the pre-Islamic man was affected by the intensity of the natural phenomena inherent in the desert pastoral environment and I believe that there are hidden powers imagining them represented in those phenomena that have taken symbols Many in the form of an animal, or plant, or planets, and used them in his poems.
