Abstract EN

The study of rains in Sudan-an analytical study aimed at knowing the rains through (their geographical distribution, their uses, their characteristics, the role of urban features in them, the factors assisting in the process of rainfall in Sudan, the rates and measures of precipitation) and by virtue of the study as an analytical formulation of several questions whose content are what are the factors natural and human influencing rains in Sudan, as well as what are the future properties of rains in Sudan in light of climate changes.

to achieve them, the study relied on a number of scientific methods used in global studies, such as the geographic system approach, the causal and causal approach, the descriptive and analytical approach in addition to methods of collecting information that included multiple tools, including observation and article in the form of focus groups (discussion groups).

to collect primary information, university references and research were used as secondary sources.

in line with this, a conceptual framework parallel to the objectives of the study was used and has a great relationship with the study questions.

the study reached conclusions that Sudan lost large quantities of rain precipitation due to the secession of southern Sudan in the year (2011 ad) which the rain was gradual according to the gradation of the humid winds from the south to the north, as the rains were heavy in the south, with more than 1000 mm of rain in the length of its fallout period, which reached nine months.

while the far north reaches less than 75 mm and rain is the most influential phenomenon before the secession of the state of south Sudan, the study concluded with a number of recommendations, which are represented in the following : the characteristics and features of the atmosphere must be preserved as a main guarantor for the continuation of life on the back of the planet and the use of water harvesting and scattering technology (hafirs) , Dams, palmyra trees, fola, raheed).
