Abstract EN

This study aimed to measure the marital adjustment level of working women and non-working women and to detect their differences in the light of some organizational and personal variables (work, age, marriage period, educational level).

The study sample consisted of (145) wife, (76) working wife and (66) non-working wife in Ouargla.

They were selected in a simple random way.

In this study we relied on the descriptive approach.

The researchers prepared data collected in questionnaire which contains three dimensions: Compatibility in raising the children - compatibility in the house affairs - Sexual emotional compatibility.

This marital adjustment, which contains (31) items, relied on the appropriate statistical methods.

The search results were as follows: 1 - Each of the working women and the non-working women achieve the marital adjustment.

2 - There are no statistically significant differences in the marital adjustment between the working women and the non-working women.

3 - There are no statistically significant differences in the marital adjustment between the working women and the non-working women according to age.

4 - There are no statistically significant differences in the marital adjustment between the working women and the non-working women according to the marriage duration.

5 - There are no statistically significant differences in the marital adjustment between the working women and non-working women according to the educational level.
