Abstract EN

This study was designed to reveal the relationship between religiosity, psychological stress and the type of coping strategies used by adults with chronic renal insufficiency compared to normal adults.

The research tools used in the study are: the measure of religiosity in favor of Ibrahim al-Sanaa and the psychological pressure scale of "Levenstein" and the measure of strategies for the confrontation of Ibrahim Abdulbaset.

The sample consists of (60) individuals.

(30) with chronic renal insufficiency and 30 normal adults.

This investigation aimed also to explore the modification of socio-demographic characteristics, the interactions between age , gender , education level and religiosity, psychological stress and the type of coping strategies .

We conducted this study at Assaad Hassani Hospital in Beni Messous in the capital and the comparative sample was taken from the students and staff of Al- Kharuba College in the capital.

We concluded with a set of results: To achieve the general hypothesis that "there are statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of religiosity scores and the coping strategies in adults with chronic renal insufficiency compared to normal adults." There are differences in indeed religiosity among chronic renal insufficiency Compared with the normal.

There are also differences in the use of coping strategies in the sample of patients with chronic renal insufficiency compared with the normal.
