One of the most fundamental and vital rights is the right to adequate housing, which preserves minimum dignity for the human being.

After stages of development in human societies, international conventions and treaties have settled on enshrining the right to housing as one of the most important human rights, adopted by the internal laws of States, in different forms and patterns that take into account the economic, social and even cultural aspect of the population.

On the other hand, the deviation of this right from its original endeavour will inevitably lead to the offender shouldering his full civil responsibilities if he abuses this right, and penalizes if criminal methods such as fraud and deception are followed in his quest for housing.

More solutions must be sought to balance the right to housing with its controls
