Abstract EN

This study dealt with Islamic ruling on the payment of Zakaah and Kaffarah [expiation] among siblings to one another.

It was divided into three sections.

The first section explored the concept of brotherhood and its types.

The second section drew on the concept of Zakat and Islamic ruling on paying it to relatives in general, and to siblings [brothers and sisters] in particular.

The third section discussed Kaffarah [expiation] and the ruling on paying it to the brothers and sisters.

The inductive method was used in this study, where the detailed elements of the issues were surveyed to make certain inferences, and the analytical method was used with a view to revealing evidence and its analysis.

The study concluded that it is permissible to pay Zakat and Kaffarah to brothers and sisters according to the most accurate opinions.
