Abstract EN

Waqf Manager is known as the administrator who manages Waqf, such as preservation, sponsorship and investment, and the collection and distribution of fruits to those who deserve them.

This study aims to define the status of Waqf Manager by studying the jurisprudential and legal provisions and comparing the Algerian and Emirati legislations.

The importance of investigating the results shows that no matter how different the jurisprudential and legal views were, they made sure that the charged person should work to maintain and develop the entrusted Waqf.

The Emirati legislator succeeded, compared to the Algerian legislator, in drafting the rules for Waqf Manager.

So it is time for the Algerian legislator to issue a new Waqf law, and we propose the strengthening of the role of Waqf Manager in protecting Waqf properties.
