Abstract EN

The study of the base form of the verb and its conjugations is important for many reasons.

1-it is necessary in understanding the meanings of the verb form and its conjugations in Arabic because learners normally refer to books of linguistics and dictionaries for more information.

2-it is important in understanding the relationship between derivatives and conjugations.

3.such a study provides a background to understand some of the secrets of the holy Quran.

the study is divided into two sections : the first section deals with the form of the verb"صرف" (Sarafa) possible conjugations.

it focuses on the forms of this verb and the verses in which it occurs.

the second section tackles the meanings of this verb in language dictionaries, then the meanings of this verb as it occurs in the verses of the Quran depending on books of Quran interpretation.
